Destiny’s Zanzibar Missions Trip - June 2024

Hi, my name is Destiny Edmon. I am a faith-based fitness trainer located in Melbourne, Florida. My desire is to help others in any way possible. So far my career of being a fitness trainer has helped many in terms of their physical health however, I have been led to start helping others on their spiritual health and relationship with God. Recently, I have been called to join a missions trip to Zanzibar Island, located in the Indian Ocean 15 miles off the coast of Tanzania. One of Africa's most diverse and vast countries, influenced by many spiritual beliefs such as Islam and other traditional systems, the Lord is bringing massive revival to the nation of Tanzania. I will be traveling with Overland Missions on this expedition. Overland Missions believes in the unity of the body of Christ. Together, we can strategically bring the Gospel to all nations. The purpose of an expedition is to bring the Gospel and build relationships with some of the most remote and neglected people on earth. With that being said, I am fundraising to both attend the missions trip and also cover my expenses and bills at home while I am gone. Being a face-to-face personal trainer, I will not be able to train my clients during the two weeks I will be gone which therefore means I will forfeit my income for two weeks. This trip takes place from June 1st, 2024 - June 14th, 2024. Any contribution, donation, prayer or share of this calling would be greatly appreciated.
