Zaniya's Battle: Leukemia Treatment Fund

Donation protected

On May 26, 2025, my 16 year old daughter Zaniya had a severe nosebleed. I called 911 and was advised to take her to the ER. She was misdiagnosed with pharyngitis and prescribed Cephalexin in California. After 3 days, she stopped the antibiotics early because she felt better.
Around June 17, 2025, she traveled to Oklahoma for her stillborn baby brother’s funeral. Two days later, she became ill again. Her father took her to the hospital where she was treated for swollen lymph nodes and given a steroid shot and Cephalexin.
The next day, she developed severe heartburn, stomach pain, and shoulder pain. After multiple ER visits, doctors found her white blood cell count was extremely high. She was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia.
Zaniya is now on a ventilator, dialysis, and heavily sedated. Her body is swollen and discolored. Zaniya is now suffering from 2 brain bleeds , a fungal infection in her heart , her liver is beat up, her kidneys are barely functioning , mucus build on her lungs and we are praying for no amputations of her arms and legs. She is on dialysis 24/7 and incubated and her body cloting factor is off causing lack of oxygen in a few areas of her body.
She entered the hospital walking and is now fighting for her life.
We are urgently trying to transfer her back home to a hospital that specializes in treating leukemia, but we need immediate help to make this happen. Please share this post! We need help!
