Zander beats ALL

On Wednesday April 24, 2019 4 year old Zander Lucas was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia B cell. He had surgery Friday April 26th to have his port put in and a lumbar puncture done, with treatment beginning as soon as the port was placed. He will be having treatment weekly, sometimes biweekly depending on the schedule, for the next 9 months. After that if he has improved, treatment will be reduced to at home medicine for 3 years.
     As you can imagine, medical bills will become extremely expensive. Zanders parents, Mark and Danielle, have been staying at the hospital with him for the past week.
     Mark has not been able to work and they have left four of their six children (Kailey-14, Gavin-11, Jaelyn 8 and Cole-6) in the care of family members. Parker, their youngest, 4 months old, is staying with them at the Ronald McDonald House.
