ZamZam Knowledge Academy Hurricane Relief
Tax deductible
Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit Zamzam Knowledge Academy, and any donation will help make an impact.
Daytona Beach was in the direct path of Hurricane Ian, one of the most destructive storms to hit Florida, and it affected the community tremendously. ZamZam Knowledge Academy, located inside the Islamic Center of Daytona Beach, was established in 2016 and is a private non-profit school as well as the only full-time Islamic Educational Institution offering this type of education in Volusia and Flagler counties.
Hurricane Ian ripped through the city and caused heavy flooding, closing our school immediately. The building has over 12 inches of filthy flood water. Sitting water creates mold in the walls. All the carpeting, doors, furniture, and base cabinets have been ruined and need replacement, along with classroom and teacher materials.
ZamZam Knowledge Academy caters to 40 K-5 students. Unfortunately, we cannot attend school until the Mosque is restored and reopened. Please, we need your generous donation to help us pay for the restoration work, repair or replace materials, and cover the cost of a temporary location (i.e., rent, utilities, etc...), so our students may return to school.
Thanks in advance for contributing to this cause.
