On July 28, 2025, we said goodbye to our beloved father, Zebedeo Angwenyi Makori, after several years of living with leukemia and, more recently, prostate cancer. He faced his illness with quiet strength and deep love, carrying our family through some of the hardest times.

Zebedeo was a devoted husband, brother, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His calm presence, wise words, and endless love touched everyone who knew him. He was kind and selfless, and the type of person who always found a way to help others even when he didn’t have much to give. He consistently put the needs of those around him before his own, and gave generously, especially when it came to family. He was deeply respected, and the lessons he taught us will stay with us always.

As we prepare to lay him to rest in the coming days, we are also supporting our mother, Mary, as she begins to adjust to life without her partner of 51 years. This GoFundMe has been set up to help cover some of the immediate financial burdens, including funeral expenses and everyday costs such as groceries, bills, and other essentials during this difficult time of grief and transition.
