Zakat for Ali's Family in Health Crisis

As Salam Alaikum, dear brothers and sisters.

Please keep me in your Du'as. I am Aishah Jalloh, mother of seven. I was in the hospital last week Wednesday due to blood in my stool out of nowhere. I went to the ER, and they found out that my colon is infected.

They also found a growth on my lungs, and I have since been referred to a gastrointestinal specialist and a pulmonologist for further testing to make sure it’s not cancer. Alhamdulillah, I only complain to Allah. I am scared, of course, with my husband already battling cancer, and now I too might be sick.

I pray each and every one of you are in good health and best of Eman. Allahumma ameen.

As you all are aware, or some of you might not be, my husband and your brother in faith, Brother Ali, was in the hospital for a month and some days, which started from a simple root canal procedure that caused him headaches, a sinus infection, and blurry vision. His right eye closed on him and is not opening.

While he was in the hospital, they had him do several tests, which came back a week or so ago showing that he has cancer between his right eye and nasal cavity, with his right eye still not opening and the left eye blurry.

With his vision seriously impaired and unable to go to work, we are requesting from the community to keep our family in your Du'a as my family and I navigate through these life-changing events in our lives.

My heart is very heavy, but I know Allah will not burden my family more than we can bear. We totally rely on Allah to see us through this test and bring about the best outcome for my family.
