Zak the Baker Front of House COVID-19 Relief Fund

Wednesday, March 25th 2020, without warning Zak the Baker laid off their entire Front of House and Barista staff during the COVID-19 pandemic. There are 15 of us. Zak the Baker is still in business(Wholesale, Delivery & pickup only).
Meanwhile, rent is approaching and unemployment/re-employment is a grueling process that will take time. Team members are living with the great fear of having no way of providing for themselves or their families.
The objective of this fundraiser is to distribute your contributions amongst the front of house staff that have been terminated in order for us to pay our rent, food, and keep some kind of standard of living in light of the bleak situation
We ask of our friends, neighbors, and Zak the Baker patrons to donate what you can during these trying times. We thank you for your support and generosity to help us & our families!

Edit for transparency: Before this GoFundMe, we were sharing a personal PayPal Pool amongst our friends and family with a goal set to $18,000. We have since then adjusted our goal by subtracting the amount collected on PayPal($1,876) and dispersed it all to the FOH. We as a team, are so grateful to our community and their contributions during this crisis. We have been touched by the amount of support and resources shared. In this time of isolation we are coming together now more than ever. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
We have also agreed to share funds with the small BOH team (dishwashers) who are tremendously affected during this time.
