Zak McShane's Road to Recovery

Hi, my name is Jill and I'm Zak's girlfriend. Zak is 34 and has Cerebral Palsy. On Monday, September 11th, Zak had surgery to remove his gallbladder. Due to complications from the surgery, Zak's recovery is taking longer than expected.

Zak's doctor recommends he be transferred to a rehab facility when he's discharged from the hospital, the date of which is TBD. The facility will assist him in regaining strength so he's able to return to living independently. Even with insurance, the current and future costs are beginning to add up.
