Zaion Lennox Off Island Medical Fundraiser

Hello family and friends,

Thank you all for taking the time to read our go fund me for our warrior ZAION LENNOX.

As most of my family and friends know, back in May 2018, it was a life changing moment for my family and I. We were informed that Baby Zaion was diagnosed at 20 weeks gestation with a congenital disorder, a multitude of neurological conditions which are Dandy Walker Malformation (abnormalities of the brain) Hydrocephalus(fluid in the brain), and Schizencephaly (abnormal slit or cleft of the brain). Due to the lack of health care on our beautiful Island and not knowing the severity after birth, Jacobs & I traveled to the Philippines to give our son a fighting chance at life. 

Zaion was born on July 5th 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Quezon City. At just 6 days old, Baby Zaion underwent his first major surgery for ventriculoperitoneal (VP) shunt placement that helps drains excess CS fluids from the brain. Baby Zaion had undergone many procedures and surgeries from 6 days old to 3 months. But despite the plight he endured in his early months of life, our little miracle beaten all expectations. 

Fast forward to today, our little boy, Zaion will be 5 years old this July. Although, thriving beautifully and showing significant improvements, his journey continues as we are scheduled to leave on July 10th to the Philippines for his very first follow up with his special team of doctors to help ensure his VP shunt is working properly, also for other medical care for his vision and dental needs. 

In preparation of his off island check ups, we kindly ask to keep our family, most especially our little miracle Zaion in your prayers, and for your support for any donation to help with out of pocket medical expenses, food, lodging, and transportation.
