Hey all, my name is Zaina Alsous and I am a Muslim daughter of the Palestinian diaspora, poet and abolitionist organizer in the process of leaving NC to study poetry at the University of Miami. I truly believe in supporting the voices, resistance, and cultural output of Muslim women in these fascist times. I am humbled and excited to be able to participate in a poetry workshop at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown this Summer and make this transition to Miami to focus on poetry but I will need community support to make it happen.

Salaam y'all! I'm Saba Taj and I am a Pakistani American artist, activist, and mother based in Durham, North Carolina. My mixed media and performance work explore hybrid identities, inherited trauma, and revolution, and is informed by my identity as a queer Muslim in the American South. From July 11-Aug 8th, I will be in residence at Elsewhere Museum as a Southern Constellations fellow. I need support to be able to dedicate 4 weeks to this incredibly exciting opportunity, and to purchase art supplies for an upcoming project focusing on hybrid Muslim/Southern identity. You can also support by purchasing prints or stickers from my website (see links below)!
Your Support Funds:
$600 - Basic needs/cost of living during the 4 week residency
$400 - Art supplies (paint, fabric, canvas, more glitter, etc)
