My name is Zaid Diaz. I am 19 years old and I need to have back surgery. I recently graduated high school and after several years of playing football and doing weightlifting, I have a herniated disc in my lower back. Over the last year I have been to the doctor multiple times. I have had MRIs, scans, as well as pain shots trying to get some relief and in the end the doctors insisted that I need back surgery. Through the pain I have continued to work and do everything I can to support myself and be productive.

I recently tried to go to a doctors appointment and was told that I would have to pay almost $1000 out-of-pocket even to just be seen. I am asking for help from Family, friends, and the Online community to assist in paying for my doctors visits and surgery to hopefully gain relief from this pain and be able to move on.
