Support for Zai to recover from Brain Surgery

Donation protected
Hi my name is Yvette and I am writing this on behalf of the Reuben-Callaghan family who are very dear friends of mine.

Our boy Zai-aarn (aka Black Panther / Zai) was playing a sport he loves, when a horrific injury occurred. No one could have predicted such an injury could be sustained from playing a 'Non-contact' sport (3P tag) but it did last Sunday 17 November.

Zai suffered a severely fractured caved skull and bleeding on the brain. He underwent emergency brain surgery and has been in Intensive Care ever since.

He is surrounded by the most beautiful family and his Mum Lee and Dad Lance have been doing an amazing job of being the strong, supportive and caring parents that they always have been. Our friends are the kindest most humble people and many of us are so lucky to have them as our family and our friends. They are the very first people to put their hands up to help others, whether they know them or not. I have witnessed this first hand many many times, however now is our time to support them back.

It's with their reluctant permission I am creating this page as a way of taking some of the financial pressure off them while they have the need to focus on their son and his recovery.

We are unsure what that will look like, or how long that will take so please if you are able to, donate what you can to support our beautiful friends.
