Campaign & Support for Zahra, a political prisoner in the UK
Donation protected
Zahra has been remanded in prison for over 4 months along with other political activists known as the Filton 18, for allegedly destroying Israeli quadcopter drones and costing Israel's biggest weapons manufacturer Elbit System millions in damages.
Alhamdullillah, Zahra is keeping strong. She has made up her mind to use her time in the best way possible by going to the gym, reading books and developping herself spiritually.
She just finished reading Malcom X's autobiography and has been studying from the books of Imam al-Ghazali which has inspired her a lot.
Zahra always remind us that it is Allah's wish that she is there, for how long it may be. She is trying to treat this Ramadan as a full ihtikaf!
One anecdote shows her mindset: one day two guards came to lock her cell for the night but the door wouldn't lock no matter how hard they tried. One of the guard told her: "your God doesn't want you to be locked in!" They had to move her to another cell. For Zahra this was a clear sign from Allah that if He wished, He could unlock all the doors and let them free. Everythig is under His power and the guard and the judges are only tools in His hands. So, we wait and see the biggest wisdom behind all of this.
Zahra’s trial is not going to take place until after May 2026 due to the failing UK Justice system which cannot accomodate for an earlier hearing. Therefore, Zahra may remain in prison for almost two years before even being given a trial.
Now we need your support and raise awareness and campaign about what is happening: the misuse of counter terrosim laws and the targetting of activists. If we don't stand up now, this country is going to suppress more and more of our rights of protest and standing for the truth.
