Hi everyone, our dear friend Zahira from Paraguay who is currently a Wien Scholar at Brandeis University has just received sad news from home that her mother, Tia Nancy, has passed away. Tia Nancy has been Zahira’s biggest support as she has been thriving in our community of students abroad. Given that these were unexpected news, Zahira faces challenging cost of airfare to return to Paraguay. Her family also faces high funeral costs.
