PLOT:

Meta Take One is a black-and-white thriller following an obsessive young film director & his crew as they plunge into a frantic night-long odyssey. Blurring the line between artistic fervor and madness, he risks everything to complete his film.

PROJECT DETAILS:

We started Meta Take One with a vision to capture the mania of relentless pursuit of creativity. This film features a diverse & talented ensemble cast, including EJ Ezeruo, Emmanuel Peeples, Aminah Williams, Laura Poindexter, and James Choi.

Atlanta’s vibrant cityscape, shot on a mix of black-and-white digital and 16mm film, pervades the background. From the very beginning, this film has been about pushing the boundaries of independent filmmaking.

We’ve self-financed nearly $40,000 to get us here, but we need your help to finish strong.
