Friends & Family, we have a dire emergency situation & we are prayerfully asking for your help. A small but mighty Christmas miracle to get us through this.

Most of you know that I live with & care for my Mom (Jackie Ann Kerbo) fulltime. She is disabled with stenosis & has been in constant wound care treatment since having surgery for severe arterial ulcers on her feet earlier this year.

She is having tests this week to determine if she now requires skin grafts to keep from losing one foot. We are about to appeal Medicare to pay for her continued wound care at hospital 2x a week & file financial aid to pay outstanding balance on her bill.

What has made this an emergency is that we have been living on family property in what was my great- grandmother's house which is falling apart. Due to a death in the family & back taxes due on this & the 4 lots around us, all property is going up for sale next week & this house is being demolished as soon as we can get out after the first of January.

To add insult to injury, as this situation started to develop a couple of months ago, my car died. And so we have been scrambling to find a way to get another car so we could move but with having to ride the bus everywhere, & all our other expenses and then everything all coming apart at once, it didn't happen. This has been overwhelming for me & terribly hard on her. We are both tired on so many levels.

Now we are looking to rent a small trailer or house where pets are welcome. They are our family. They drive us crazy but keep us sane, lol. We can't bear to lose them in this whole stressful mess.

We just don't have enough money to pay deposits, have utilities turned on, pay for help to move with no vehicle, etc.. And keep going with all Mom's needs at the same time while we do. We need to replace some things to get her comfortable & situated, like her bed. Especially if she is facing 1 or more surgeries & a painful long recovery.

We have been struggling & limping along in this broken down house for way too long. We just can't do it by ourselves. All we've got is each other, an old doggy & a handful of kitties but we need a helping hand to get someplace else, together, intact. If we can get over this hurdle of expenses of getting moved, we believe we can then get along OK.

I want to keep Mom with me & take care of her (like she did for me thru the years of wrecks, illnesses, & surgeries that I had) for as long as I can. And.....JACKIE ANN KERBO was MOM to many of you who are reading this. Back in the day she opened her heart & home to many of my wayward friends who needed a place to stay whether for an hour or a month. I am asking you all to help me help her now when she needs it most.

Reaching out like this is SO hard but this is what the Lord put upon my heart to do & (*terrified*though I am), I am trusting in Him. Obeying Him. Waiting on Him. Praying for a miracle.

I hope you all know I will be a humble, thankful, careful steward with any donations received. (It's not just from you, it's from God). Every penny not needed to move will go towards getting a reliable used car, our second need. We just have to get moved asap first.

I will give updates & I desire to give God the Glory for what He is about to do. Praying for faith & courage. We need prayers above all. They matter most. So many interconnected needs right now, all in the hands of a little baby boy born in a manger long ago. Christ the Lord.
