Helloo my name is Blake VanDam I'm 25 years old I live in Lancaster California. I suffered a incomplete T4 spinal cord injury. Traumatic Brain injury, fractured neck, broken arms, wrists, shoulder, femur, pelvis, and a collapsed lung.

I was in a motorcycle accident on july 16th 2021 When a driver pulled out in front of me. Very Blessed to be here. I love to get out and do things with friends. Even more now since injury. Love sports, camping and getting out with the community and family. Being active even after disability, but alot of the things I like to do or need adapted are very expensive and not practical for me. I would like to get the counters, stove top and shelves in my house adapted and lowered as it would help improve my everyday life alot. an electric gate for the front of the house so I can open it with a click button so I don't have to transfer in and out of the car as much or push a heavy gate on dirt which is very hard. Or possibly a Rugby wheelchair because I love playing sports and getting out every Sunday for practice at Mccambridge Park down in L.A I have tried to apply for grants as well but most of them don't cover the full cost of the equipment needed, don't approve you for a grant or do not do partial payments and can be a hassle to get everything into place.
