Zacs fight for life

As many of you know and to those of you that do not, Zac was hospitalized in the ICU for septic shock and multiple organ failure on 3/13/19. The infection attacked his heart valve and Zac needed to have emergency open heart valve replacement surgery on 3/15/19. His kidneys lost all function and he is currently on dialysis. Zac was intubated for 6 long days. Due to the infection that is still infecting his blood and his body Zac also had to undergo another surgery on 3/23/19 to remove abscesses and dead muscle tissue in his legs and arm. Zac will need another procedure to clean the wounds once they begin to heal. Zac is going to need extensive rehabilitation for not only his heart but also the rest of his body once the infection is gone, as well as continued dialysis. He is fighting  hard and we are very hopeful of a full recovery. However this is going to be a very long process and Zac will not be able to work for quite some time. With medical bills beginning to roll in, and now being a single income family this is going to cause a great deal of distress to both of us. I am not one to ask for help but at this point in time we would be extremely grateful. Our main priority is getting Zac healthy and back to living his life. If you are able to help in anyway it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you to everyone that has done so much already. I personally don’t think we could have made it this far without all the amazing people we have in our corner supporting us.
