My trusty WH-1000XM3's have been contorting in gut-wrenchingly unnatural angles for quite some time.
The ear-pillows have decayed to such a state that I consider it suitable to describe their style as "weathered relics of modern decay, vintage aesthetic juxtaposed in contemporary form".
