Bringing Hope and Healing for the Fowler Family
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Family!
Amie and Zack reside in California, where they have built a beautiful family together. They currently have seven children, and their eighth blessing is on the way. However, their world turned upside down when Zack received the devastating news in June that he has Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML), a lifelong blood cancer.
The reality of this diagnosis is heartbreaking - a lifetime of chemotherapy pills to manage Zack's condition is not what he had in mind for his future.
Determined to pursue a healthier and more hopeful future, Zack has made the courageous choice to seek an alternative treatment at a reputable cancer clinic in Utah, known for its expertise in holistic healing.
During this crucial time, Amie will be the pillar of support for their growing family. She will expertly care for their seven children (who she homeschools!), while also preparing for the arrival of their precious baby boy, expected in December. It breaks our hearts to think that Zack may be away, undergoing treatment.
Their family has decided to go to Utah and join him as they’ll joyously welcome their newest addition in December. These circumstances only deepen their need for assistance and support in order to navigate this challenging chapter of their lives.
Unfortunately, their health insurance does not cover these specific treatments, leaving them with an overwhelming financial burden. This is where your compassion and generosity can bring hope and healing to a family facing unimaginable challenges.
Together, we can be the rays of sunshine peeking through the clouds, reminding Amie, Zack, and their children that they are not alone in this fight. Your donation will provide hope, resilience, and the assurance that they are surrounded by love and support from friends, family, and even strangers who have been touched by their remarkable story.
**UPDATE**
Zack got an update on his treatment plan. He’ll do a full 3 months 10 more weeks and they’ll reevaluate again for what’s needed as they go.
It will be $15k to do the first 3 months.
So we plan to make 2 lump sum payments. $7500 now, $7500 on the 15th of October.
So far his body is making good process with the treatment. He lost 30k white blood cells within the first week! He was at 230k WBC now he’s at 210k. A normal healthy person should be at 10k-12k. So he’s on his way back down. They are killing the cancer and will also get to the root of the disease. The cancer started growing because of something else, not what Kaiser said as “it’s just bad luck”.
Thank you ALL for your love, support and encouragement!
Love, The Fowler Family
