Zack is undergoing his 4th surgery today; it’s a last attempt to SAVE HIS LEG by doing a bypass. Surgeons have been clear if unsuccessful, the next option is amputation below the knee. The first three surgeries were to remove blood clots. The surgeons were baffled by his case, to begin with, him having no known risk factors to explain it. Only more baffled as he clotted again, requiring surgery #2. And again, requiring surgery #3. But days after the third surgery they found MORE clots, and two options were given. Go straight to amputation, or attempt a bypass and hope for success, God willing!
The pain is off the charts immense, even with medication. He’s a great guy! Has four beautiful children. He is self-employed in construction and uninsured, and can no longer work to support his family. We NEED help! Prayers! Encouragement!
