Hi, my name is Zackary, I have just turned 2 and I have stage 4 Refractory Neuroblastoma which occurs in only 15% of high-risk Neuroblastoma cases.

What that means for me, is after 5 rounds of chemotherapy, Surgery and one of two stem cell transplants that I have been through, it has not reduced the rapid spread of this aggressive cancer.

I was diagnosed at 16 Months old on the 7th July 2025 and after 8 Months of gruelling treatment, it has metastasised to other areas including my bone marrow.

My journey has seen a lot of time in hospital and a lot of admissions to PICU.

My little body has been fighting as much as it can, but we need better treatment in Australia.

My mummy is currently looking into traveling overseas for second opinions and different clinical trials available that are not available in Australia however it is very costly for the medical treatments, insurance and accommodation.

I am calling out to everyone who can understand how incredibly hard this has been for me and my family. My mum is unable to work due to the demands of treatment and appointments and we have had to relocate to Brisbane to be close to the Queensland Children’s Hospital.

Neuroblastoma is a BEAST. It has no kindness, no remorse and does not care for time. It is relentless.
