Zachy Yater Legacy

A million smiles - A million laughs Zachy has given us over his almost 9 years with family and friends. God blessed us all with every moment we got to spend with him and every memory we will now carry in our hearts of him. On early Sunday morning, October 10, 2019, Jesus called our precious Zachy home. While we all know that he ran into his arms in Heaven, we are all left heartbroken and shattered down here on earth without him. Zachy Yater was a special needs child that defied all the odds stacked against him. The doctors thought Zachy wouldn't survive even 8 minutes after birth and he instead Lived (and all who knew him know he and his family and friends LIVED) every minute of his almost 9 years of life. Through multiple surgeries, multiple setbacks, being told he would never talk, he would never walk, Zachy and his mom Bobbi Jo, dad Joe, brothers LJ and Joey, and sister Shyann decided that Zachy was going to write his own story. This young man and his family never felt sorry for their situation - They were instead blessed. Blessed with every single day they had with each other and we were all blessed to be invited into their family. The Yater's would do anything for anybody. Zachy and his family GIVE. They give to each other and they GIVE to all of us...most of all - LOVE. Some of Zachy's favorite times were spent at the Prexie youth football practices and football games where he cheered on his older brother "Joe Joe" "Number 2 - 5" and all of the Prexie football players and cheerleaders. Zachy loved them all so much and we all loved that little boy so much in return. Please pray for the Yater's in the days, weeks, months, and years to come. This world will simply never be the same without him. Whatever you are able to give, please help as we are raising money to pay for Zachy's final expenses and help give back to an incredible little boy and his family who have given all of us Prexies, Family, and Community so much. Zachy's Legacy will live on forever.
