Hi, everyone! My name is Zacha, and I’m reaching out for your support after an incredibly challenging experience. While preparing for an overseas trip and a major move out of Alice Springs, my car was broken into while I was in Melbourne. Everything I had worked so hard to gather for this new chapter in my life was in that car, and now a huge part of it has been stolen.

Among the stolen items was my passport, which has completely derailed my travel plans. Other losses include my brand-new bike, essential for getting around, heaps of clothes and shoes, and most heartbreakingly, an engagement ring passed down from my great-grandmother.

This situation has left me devastated. My entire life was packed into that car as I prepared to say goodbye to Alice Springs and embark on a fresh journey. Now, not only has a significant part of my belongings been taken from me, but I’m also left trying to piece things back together while navigating this transition.
