Zacharymyboy’s Mouth Surgery

Hello everyone! This is my son Zachary, and as most of you know, he was born with heart disease and a cleft palate.He has had three heart surgeries and a cleft palate surgery. Because of the cleft palette surgery, when he grew up all of his teeth were squeezed together. It was very uncomfortable for him and he has already had four teeth removed. Right now he has 4 impacted wisdom teeth that need to be removed immediately because two of them have deep cavities and he already has had a couple Infections which has been very painful for him, because he does not understand because of his autism. Zachary has Social Security disability which is supposed to cover all of his medical needs, the problem is there is only one oral surgeon in all of Tampa Bay that takes Medicaid and it is a two year waiting list. He also cannot have it done in an office, it has to be done in the hospital because of his heart condition. We found a doctor to do it at the hospital but it does not take Zachary‘s insurance. Fortunately we have the hospital covered, but we need to raise the money for the doctor. She gave us a reasonable amount because I told her we did not have the money to do it and I would need to get help to raise the cash. Zachary is in a lot of pain and really He should not have to wait a year and a half or two years for a surgery he needs right now!
