On Friday, December 4th Pine Forest Elementary witnessed a frightening experience that would be any parent greatest fear.  Zachary was hit in the crosswalk in front of the school while his mother, a security officer and other families witnessed.  This accident has left him with major long term medical issues and immediate full time care.  As a community this is our opportunity to rally around this young family in their time of need.  With the holidays so close this is going to be difficult on all of them. 

He will be bed ridden for at least 2-3 months as he recovers from his injuries.  In addition to financial help we are also in search of new or used  electronic devices, gaming systems with age appropriate games, books or board games to keep his mine occupied during this time.   Gift cards or Gift donations can be dropped off at the Maumelle Area Chamber of Commerce from 9:00-4:00 Monday - Friday or at Pine Forest Elementry from 9:00-1:00 Monday - Friday.
