Help Support Zachary Schuler — A Kind-Hearted Young Man Facing an Unimaginable Situation
Zachary Schuler, 18, is a respectful, soft-spoken, and kind-hearted young man who recently graduated from high school last year. A beloved son, brother, and friend, Zach made his family and community proud by earning the title of MVP during his final high school basketball game at Burton Coliseum. He is known for his gentle nature, strong work ethic, and love for spending time with his family.
Recently, Zach found himself in an incredibly frightening and dangerous situation. While working at his job, he was stalked for over a week by a group of individuals. This ongoing harassment escalated to a terrifying moment when five masked and armed individuals showed up at his workplace. Fearing for his life and unsure of their intentions, Zach made a split-second decision to protect himself. He discharged his legally owned firearm, not intending to kill, but to survive.
Zach has never had any criminal history or trouble with the law. He is a quiet, down-to-earth young man who was simply trying to make it home safe to his family. The events that unfolded have left Zach and his loved ones emotionally and financially shaken.
We are asking for your support to help cover legal expenses (retainer fees from attorneys), counseling services, and any necessary support Zach will need during this challenging time. Your generosity will allow Zach and his family to navigate this unexpected crisis with the dignity and care they deserve.
Please consider donating or sharing Zachary’s story. Any amount is greatly appreciated. Thank you for standing with a young man who was just trying to protect his life in a moment of fear.
