Zachary Pugh Memorial Scholarship at CUW
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Tracy; I am a mom fundraising to create a scholarship in my son's name. Zachary was a remarkable 21-year-old young man who recently lost his battle with a very rare cancer. Zach donated his tissues to the Children's Oncology Group so that future childhood cancer research may be able to help other children.
Zachary was pure in heart. He had a very strong faith.
His sweet demeanor and bright smile made everyone happy.
He volunteered regularly and always had a loving, kind and giving spirit. He was involved in music and the arts. Zachary loved to sing, play trombone, and was a fantastic photographer. He also was an avid gamer. He played video games with kids from around the world.
Zach's last wish was to have a legacy; he was an environmental advocate since he was 6 years old. He wanted to become an environmental engineer to help protect the planet against climate change. I need to raise enough to create a sustainable endowment so that Zach's fund will continue to give future scholarship opportunities to students at Concordia University Wisconsin interested in environmental studies and science. In this way, Zach can still protect the environment through this gift to them. He wanted the fund to be perpetual and continue to give opportunities to other kids forever. I hope you consider a gift so Zach can keep giving back.
