Zach Riddle Family

Hello, my name is Michele and I'm fundraising for my niece, Megan, and her little family.

When Megan's husband, Zach, was 19 years old, he contracted tuberculosis. He went through proper treatments and made a full recovery. However, it left a lot of damage to his upper left lung.

This past Thursday, Zach woke up coughing blood. He was taken to the ER in Crisp County GA. The hospital ran blood work and did a CT scan. After the CT scan, the hospital began consulting with a doctor at Navicent in Macon, GA. The doctors decided that he needed to be moved to Macon for surgery to remove the damaged cavity from his previous TB because that was what was causing the bleeding.

They arrived at Navicent on Friday morning where two different doctor's took over Zach's case. After reviewing his scans, the doctors determined that Zach's whole upper left lobe had no function, had shrunk to nothing and needed to be removed to prevent future bleeding and problems.

On Saturday, they were told that they wanted to move him to Emory in Atlanta for the surgery. Currently, they are waiting for Emory to accept the case so that he can be transferred. He will remain in the hospital until surgery.

Megan and Zach have a 2 1/2 year old little boy, Weston, and a little girl on the way (due 12/29/22). Needless to say, this is financially devastating to their little family. Any help, however small, is so very appreciated. If you can't give, we ask that you keep them in your prayers.
