Zach needs a car . . . like NOW.

Zach Payne is one of the most incredible people I know.

He's a seriously talented writer. He's super generous with his time and energy. Ninja Writers wouldn't exist without his help.  

And Zach's in trouble.

His car died a few months ago. Since he lives in a rule area, 45 minutes even from the nearest bus stop, and has some physical challenges not having a car means that he is basically housebound.

He can't look for a full time job (Ninja Writers isn't fulltime for him yet), he can't get to school, he can't do much of anything.

He's also written before about suffering from depression.

Housebound + depression = we need to help our friend get a car. 

I think we can do it. In fact I know we can.

So here's how this is going to work: give what you can. All of the money will go to Zach to buy, insure, and register a car. I think if we can get $5000, we can get him on the road again.

We can also show him that this community cares about him. And we can help a friend. Let's do this, Ninjas.
