Zach Mills
As many of you have read Zach went into a diabetic crisis known as diabetic keto acidosis sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning. His friends called 911 and he was taken to Mobap in Sullivan.
While in ICU in Sullivan he went into cardiac arrest and was airlifted to mobap here in St Louis very early Monday morning. We are waiting for each lab results and holding on to every word his team shares with us. Kathleen is finally able to be with him now that he passed the covid screening, but that’s still comes with limits and that’s tough.
It’s truly the unthinkable for a young dad to go thru this and for his wife (my sister) Kathleen and their almost 5 year old Charlize and 2 year old son Weston. Not to mention his mom and all of his family who adore him.
At this time our main goal is getting him well and off the vent when safe. While prayers are our life line we also know we need to plan ahead. Zach and Kathleen will have many bills and that shouldn’t even be a thought. While we have no idea how big that can be, we figured we could start somewhere.
I know not everyone can help financially help, this also puts it out there to pray, and pray hard. We need you all.
And if you are able to help, we can’t thank you enough. I can only hope that when Zach opens his eyes he rolls them at me for going public. He’s such a private person but I know loved by many.
Thank you to everyone who reads this and thinks of us.
