Zack Hoffmann's medical fund
Zack’s 1st battle- 7 years ago, 5 years old.
Monday August 22, 2011 we went to the eye doctor to see why Zacky has been experiencing double vision. He was referred for an MRI and then sent to Children's Hospital in St. Paul where he was ultimately diagnosed with a tumor in his brain.
Zack’s current battle- early Dec 2017, 12 years old.
Early Dec 2017, a new tumor was discovered in Zack's brain. After a few days of headaches, we noticed he seemed to have some issues with his left side arm and leg. He seemed clumsy and unstable, so his doctors decided to have us come down to Minneapolis to see what was going on. An MRI of his brain revealed what we hoped never to hear, that indeed a tumor was present again.
It is in the same general area as before and appears to be slightly larger than last time. It will be removed surgically and identified at that point.
Dec 11th Zack underwent surgery to remove the tumor, and will being treatment soon. The funds received from this donation will help the Hoffmann family with medical bills, fuel and other travel expenses over the next 18-24 month treatment/recovery period.
