My name is Pam Heald, sister-in-law to Zach, who I love deeply as my own little brother.
A week ago, our lives were unexpectedly turned upside down when Zach was involved in a terrible car accident. A young girl, who dozed off at the wheel, collided head-on with him while he was on his way back from setting up their new home they had recently moved into. Thankfully, his wife, Taylor, wasn't with him at the time.
As we rushed to the hospital, praying for the best, we were relieved to find him stable but knocked out from the pain.
Since he got to the hospital, the pain has been tough for him to bear. Doctors discovered a torn area and fluid around his intestines, which was causing the majority of the pain. He also ended up with a badly bruised lung and a fractured leg. But thanks to the quick-thinking medical team, they performed an emergency operation to prevent further complications.
Now, our focus is on supporting Zach during his long road to recovery. Taylor has decided to be by his side, caring for him full-time, which means she will have to take several weeks off from work. Unfortunately, as Zach is self-employed, there's no extra coverage to rely on, and he won't be able to work during this time.
This is where your incredible kindness and generosity can make a difference. We kindly invite you to join us in helping Taylor and Zach navigate this challenging journey without the added burden of financial worries. Every little bit counts and your contribution will directly support them in covering medical expenses and bills during Zach's recovery and loss of work.
The love and warmth we've already received from friends and family have been so sweet, and your contribution, no matter the size, would mean the world to us. Together, we can ease the financial burden and show Zach and Taylor how much they're cared for.
With heartfelt appreciation- The Heald Family
