Zach and Cassie Peters

My name is Terry Adams and I'm Zach Peter's mother in law and Cassie's mom. I'm raising funds to help them out as Zach will be having major surgery on July 3rd and will be missing approximately two months of work. He was born with a condition called Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia 21 Hydroxylase Deficency, (CAH). He has been a case study since he was a baby for the National Institute of Health in Maryland for this condition. During his routine check up in February he had an MRI where they discovered that he has grown many various size tumors on his adrenal glands. These tumors are now pressing up on his diaphram and pressing on his kidneys causing his blood pressure to be high so the tumors have to be removed. The largest is about the size of a large cantaloup and the others are various sizes. Three seperate surgeons will be operating simultaneously on him to remove the tumors and to also remove his adrenal glands. The tumors have caused Diastasis Recti which means the abdominal muscles have torn apart. His surgery will be at least 6 hours long and he will be in the hospital from two days before surgery until up to 10 days after. Zach will be off of work for about two months and Cassie also has to take off work too so both will lose their incomes. They will also have to purchase a plane ticket for Cassie to be with him in Maryland and Cassie will have to purchase all meals while with Zach. Plus since they have no relatives in Tennessee, they have to pay a kennel to board their two very much loved dogs. All funds raised will support them financially while they are off work and Zach recovers. Donations would very much help them during this time and would be such a blessing.
