Zaccanelli family support

7/29 UPDATE: 

Ben's organs were shutting down so they couldn't wait any longer for a heart to become available. On Tuesday (7/25) they put in an LVAD (Left Ventricle Assist Device) which will help his heart pump blood correctly & allow all his organs to get back to normal functioning. Three months after getting the LVAD he can be relisted for a heart transplant. 

The LVAD is the solution to live 'normal' until he gets a new heart. True to form, Ben likes setting records so woke up 2 days early from the surgery. All his numbers are improving. With the LVAD he'll be in the hospital 3 more weeks then home for more healing. Going forward there will be some things he loves that he won't be able to do (like swimming) but he'll be home & getting back to normal life with his wife Brittany & his kids!
