Zac Roden's Medical Expenses

Hello,

My name is Stephanie Whatley-Farmer. My dear friend Zac Roden survived a miraculous TWO falls off of Welcome Falls two weeks ago. As a fellow survivor of a waterfall, I understand some of the mental trauma he is going through. However, he did not just survive ONE actual 15 foot drop off the first ledge of the water fall but two falls! Zac fell off then in a dazz from the first drop he tried to move but ended up rolling off the SECOND 35 foot drop!!! He has sustained a significant amount of injuries.

The first picture is a picture of the place he fell, June 2, 2022.

The second picture was taken on June 3rd in the Trauma ICU @ UAB.

The last pictures were today, June 10, 2022 during therapy.

Getting in and out of a car and walking outside.

His injuries were: a broken neck at C1. Seven broken ribs, 2 on left and 5 on the right, with cartlidge being pulled around his 4 & 5 ribs. He had a collapsed right lung, broken sternum, pelvic broken on both sides, with a broken sacrum on the left. And to round it all out a broken hand.

I started this gofund for Zac's medical expenses from the fall and in the future. He will be out of work for 10 to 12 weeks. He has started rehaab but the neck injury and all the chest breaks are the longest to recover from much less all at once. He is recovering with family but could really use help with funds. He needs special equipment for his mobility too.
