As a kid, Zac had an incredible imagination and he was always making videos, drawing and creating stories. . As his sister, I always felt two steps behind Zac. He was so clever and sharp witted, which challenged all of us but was also very entertaining. He carried that wit, creativity and love of art throughout his life.
Our family is absolutely devastated to lose Zac. This loss is particularly painful at time when we are all suffering so much from the pandemic. Zac struggled for many years with deep depression and alcoholism and the pandemic compromised all of his coping strategies. His death was completely unexpected and none of us were prepared.
Any support shared through this memorial fund will go towards Zac’s final expenses. His family is grateful for the outpouring of love from his friends and the anime community. We hope you will hold tight to those you love, call someone who might be struggling and be kind to yourself.
