Aug. 17 2019 Marcia's life was forever changed as the one whom she thought she loved almost took life. Ramsey Figley brutally attacked her in a drunken rage he began by punching and kicking her. He then continued to do so outside of the residence.
Toledo Fire and Rescue Department crews arrived and witnessed Figley grab the woman by the throat, shove her down, and hit her in the head with a landscaping brick. Emergency crews indicated that Marcia was unconscious.
She was then transported to an area hospital, where she was placed on life support. She spent two weeks in a rehabilitation facility.
Marcia suffers from memory loss, difficulty walking and speaking, and a torn rotator cuff, adding she cannot drive. Before all of this Marcia was a hard working fun loving mother now she cannot work and struggles with emotional battles as would anyone who has been through domestic violence.
