Bones’ Vet Bills: Surgery and Heart Health Monitoring
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Reena and the cutie in the photos is my 8 month old kitten, Bones. When I got him at 2 months old, he was skinny, flea-ridden, and neglected — he clearly had been separated from his mother too early as he lacked a lot of abilities that healthy cats have (couldn’t clean himself, didn’t understand how to play or use the litter box). Now, after many months of loving, bonding, and growing, we’ve come to find he has bladder stones and an umbilical hernia, that need to be surgically removed. Additionally, he is starting to show early signs of HCM, a genetic heart disorder in cats which can severely decrease their life expectancies. Unfortunately, much of this is not eligible for coverage under my pet insurance, and my savings is quickly depleting. All funds will go towards his upcoming hernia and bladder stone removal surgery, next month; as well as ongoing ECG screenings of his heart health. Any help you can offer is much appreciated! I know things are financially tight for many people — myself included— so even sharing this page is a huge help. I sincerely thank you for your time ❤️
