Hi, My name is Belal, I live in Canada. My story is similar to the stories of 2 millions Palestinians whose families are living in Gaza. They had a big house that has a family of 32 members, that includes my grandmother, 7 uncles, and their wives and children. Their big house got bombed and demolished on the 4th week of the war, my whole family got displaced from the north to the south. The 32 members of my family who had to be displaced are now living in the streets, also there were 112 from our relatives (most of them kids and women) were killed during the war. We are welling to buy them 6 tents which is $800 each. And they have a special need person that needs to be taken care of, my grandmother had a stroke and she can’t move or talk or do anything. She also needs medications that are very pricey plus the adult diapers and other stuff that she needs. My cousin works as a photographer and his 5D canon Camera and his media equipment were destroyed when their house was bombed, his family was relying on his business financially. I’m trying to support him so he can buy new equipment and fix what he can fixes so he can get back to work and start supporting his family again. Plus the rest of the family also lost their businesses, there is no income for the family for the past 116 days, plus the cost of living has tripled during the war. Even when they thought about leaving Gaza they were told that it costs $7000 each and the total will be $225000 which there is no way to get this kind of amount. This made my family decide to stay in Gaza.
