I met this man named Troy in a parking lot in Los Angeles. He caught my attention because he had a few cats on a leash. I walked over to him and he told me it was ok to pet his cats and that they were very friendly.

Troy began to tell me that this was his home, he experienced financial hardship from COVID-19 which forced him to vacate his apartment building and live in his van. He has 5 cats that he refused to leave behind that also live in the van. I asked him if I could get him or his cats any food and he let me know his cats are always first priority and showed me a bag of food.
