Hannah and Peyton have had a great track season this year!

Hannah qualified for the Bell Track & Field Olympic Trials in Montreal.

Peyton qualified for the Legion Track & Field Nationals in Calgary.

They have also BOTH been selected to Team Alberta for the Western Canada Team Challenge in Winnipeg!!

It's all very exciting!!!

Hannah was thrilled to qualify for Olympic Trials in Montreal, as it is the selection meet for athletes that will represent Canada at the Paris Olympics this year!!! She qualified very close to the deadline for the meet; that combined with the substantial travel costs resulted in her being unable to attend.

Peyton qualified for the second year in a row for the Legion Nationals U18 meet. Last year Peyton was unable attend due to travel costs as the event was in Sherbrooke, Quebec. This year the meet is in Calgary, so she is going! The costs are fairly limited, but she is looking to cover her entry fees, travel and accommodations for the 3 day meet.

They are both very excited for the Western Canada Team Challenge in Winnipeg. They will board the team Alberta bus in Calgary and head for Winnipeg on July 18th and attend the meet from July 19th to 21st.

All their hard work and success sometimes equals increasingly difficult to handle costs. Hannah and Peyton have always covered most of their own expenses, including club memberships and event fees for each meet. They are now looking for help with the costs of their National and Western Canada events.

Their goal is to raise $2000 to cover their Team Alberta fees as well as Peyton's costs to attend Legion Nationals.

They will be also be holding a Track & Field day camp for ages 5 to 12 years in Cardston to raise funds. **Hannah & Peyton's Speed School** This will include instruction on drills and techniques they have learned through their track club. They will also bring some of their medals and trophies from their Provincial meets and CALTAF professional meet to show the kids.
