A Brewster CSD family is going through some very difficult times and needs our help.

I have permission from the family to share the following;

Amanda Forrest, a single mother with a special needs son, was diagnosed with cancer last year. Many of you may know Amanda's amazing son, Max Michinko who is a student at BHS. Amanda has been undergoing treatment and has been in and out of the hospital due to complications/setbacks related to her treatments. She is unable to work. The house she has been renting was sold and she needs to find a new place to live within the Brewster CSD so that her son can continue to thrive in our amazing school district. The expenses related to securing a new rental, moving and providing for her family without income has been a significant source of stress and worry. Amanda should be able to focus on her health and caring for her son without these added stressors.
