My daughter has been diagnosed with breast cancer. She is only 39 years old with 4 young boys. It was found during her initial screening mammogram and was very unexpected. Things are moving very quickly and she has a great medical team. Treatments are expected to start in the next week or two. There is just so much that insurance just does not cover. She has already started missing significant work hours and her paycheck will be reduced because of it, not to mention all of the 2 hour commutes to treatments. Treatment is expected to last the next 6 months at least. She is going to lose her hair, both breasts, and possibly her ovaries. The last thing her family needs is the financial worry that goes along with all of this. If you are able, please help her and her family get through these next difficult 6 months.
