David Doane's Journey
"David Doane's Journey" is a fund being set up to assist the Doane family with medical costs that go beyond their insurance, to compensate for time off of work for treatments and for current and future alternative therapies. David and his family are currently fighting a battle with Cancer in Stage 4, specifically, Renal Cell Carcinoma.
Here's an excerpt from Gena on "David Doane's Journey" FB page:
"In 2012, David had a kidney and the tennis ball size tumor (mass) inside it, removed. It was kidney cancer (Renal Cell Carcinoma) but all contained in that one kidney. So it was just taken out. He quickly recovered and we moved on in life (of course keeping up with routine checks). In November of 2014, after watching and measuring for months, some suspicious spots in his lungs were confirmed to be Renal Cell Carcinoma in Stage 4. So now the big fight has begun." - Gena Doane
David and Gena have always been there for others and many of their friends feel now is the best time to lend a hand of support.
For those who wish to make a donation by check, please make checks payable to Gena Doane and mail to:
P O Box 1052, Bonita, CA 91908 and it will be forwarded and added to the fund.
Please know that Gena and David appreciate your prayers, support and love so very much.
