We coming to y’all today with hearts that are both heavy and incredibly grateful. Our sweet, energetic 4-year-old boy, Qahsiem, was recently the victim of a terrifying incident where he was shot in the face.

It’s a sentence no mother or father should ever have to speak. To see our baby boy who should only be worried about playing and being a kid going through such a traumatic event has been absolutely heartbreaking.

We are thanking God that Qahsiem is still with us. By a true miracle, his injuries were not life-threatening, but the trauma of what happened is something that doesn't just go away. Qahsiem is being so brave, but he’s still just a little boy trying to understand why this happened to him.

While we are so lucky he’s stable, the road to full healing physically, mentally, and emotionally is just beginning. We want to make sure Qahsiem’s smile stays bright and that he has everything he needs to feel safe again in this world.

We are asking for donations to help the family with:

* Medical Expenses: Hospital costs and the specialist follow-ups needed for his recovery.

* Healing & Comfort: Therapy and resources to help him process the trauma so he can keep his childhood spirit.

* Family Support: Helping his parents stay by his side 24/7 without the weight of mounting bills while they focus on his care.
