With unexpected expenses

My name is Katie and I am Mark Ciaverelli's only daughter. On June 20th, 2023 I got numerous phone calls and text messages trying to get a hold of me while I was on the way back to California. My father tragically lost his life and I was unable to be with him when we needed each other the most. He was working and fell from a second story roof. He had many broken bones including his neck and back, among many other injuries were sustained during his fall. He went into emergency surgery and unfortunately wasn't able to recover. He passed away shortly after while I was still in the air coming home. His ultimate cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head and chest. No one ever envisions their parents passing any other way than of old age. He had a very traumatic ending that is leaving us in complete shambles. Since I am his only next of kin and organizer, I will be absorbing medical costs and debt that he left behind. This was so sudden and none of us had any time to plan for this.
