My cousin Fritz Donckers was driving with his fiancée Gabrielle and a car swerved into them, flipping their truck. Both are OK - and lucky. Thankfully, they just dropped off Fritz's daughter and Fritz's son was not with them.
But Fritz lost all his equipment and his truck. And that means Fritz is out of work. Fritz bought the insurance he could afford, but it didn't cover his equipment or damage to his truck, so this is a real loss for him and his family.
Fritz is a landscaper, caretaker, handyman and does lawn care and tree removal and many other jobs. He's valuable to many people, especially in the summer.
We're trying to get Fritz back in business - he needs to replace his equipment and find a replacement used truck. Although it was the other driver's fault, it’s not sure whether they will pay for the truck and, given the truck's age, whether they willl pay much or anything at all.
