On Friday, Jan 31 at 2 pm, my sister, Lori, received a call from the doctor's office with lab results of a biopsy taken two days prior. She was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma.

While an aggressive form of breast cancer, gratefully it has only invaded the tissue around the malignant tumor and has not reached the lymph nodes yet.

Surgery is scheduled for Friday, 2/21 with treatment to follow.
