Hi everyone! Anyone who knows me, knows that I have been going through the wringer the past year, and mostly in the last few months. I’m going to try to keep this as short as I can! Over the past year I have undergone 3 surgeries and a couple of medical procedures that have put me out of work for the majority of the year. This last surgery (9/20) was a major one where they removed a giant tumor from the left side of my abdomen (thankfully it was benign). A few days before my surgery my van broken down and left me without transportation. A few weeks after my surgery (10/14) I was able to purchase a new-used car from a dealership! Things were starting to look up!! That was until Halloween night, someone hit my car while it was in a parking lot downtown and my car has become un-drivable. I have full coverage insurance but somehow because it is a “hit and run” it is being put under investigation and my insurance company will not cover my rental car coverage (I would bus it but I have a million DR appointments and work in the mountains). Geico is insinuating that this won’t be covered and that I will have to pay out of pocket to replace my suspension and all of the body damages. I am at a complete loss right now and am insanely overwhelmed by the financial burden that has been thrown at me in the past 3 months. I am not one to be this vulnerable and put myself out there to ask for help like this, but I need it. I am in over my head and am exhausted mentally, physically and emotionally. Whatever you can help out with whether it be a donation, a share, it’s all appreciated! If Geico ends up covering my car to be fixed, the money will end up going to my medical bills! So thank you in advance!!
